COLOURlovers is one of my favorite colour resources. This community website based on the world of colour, follows colour news and trends, as well as featuring interesting user created colour palettes. Recently they did a great blog post on Color Inspiration from the Masters of Painting, featuring pieces of art from some of greatest masters of painting, and how they inspire us with color.

If you’re ever struggling to define the colours of a project you need to visit this site.
