Google News offer another compelling search option providing access to 200 years worth of news stories. One of the great feature is the timeline option, which will group results for a particular search chronologically, letting you see how a particular event was covered over time.

So, when you have some time, take a few minutes and surf around the Google News Archive to see what you can find.
